September 2024 saw numerous endings on the British national rail network and certainly the 194 year partnership between the railways and Royal Mail a shock for many. With 17 days remaining 325009 is captured working 1M36 08:34 Shieldmuir to Daventry reflected in the flooded roadway between Crawford and Abington. The last mail trains ran on 20th September with 009 being part of the final service to run out of the Willesden Princess Royal Distribution Centre.
